Rules of #AllNiteCafe
The #AllNiteCafe channel is the first room everyone joins when connecting to Community Chat via the Majestic-Irc program. This channel is moderated in some aspects to maintain a relatively open environment without too much negative atmosphere.
Guidelines of #AllNiteCafe are as follows:
A ban will be set automatically after three kicks. Users may be removed at any time based on moderator discretion.
English only, as it is the dominant language of the community. There are other rooms for foreign languages.
Rated PG-13 for the conditions below:
* Swearing is acceptable as long as it is not excessive, hateful, or sexual. Some words remain on auto-kick due to their commonly harsh nature.
* Discussion of substance abuse will not be permitted.
* Mild sexual references only. Light humour and gender preference is okay. Please note: Community Chat is not a dating/hook-up service.
Political and religious discussion will be allowed in a civil manner.
Remarks such as "You're all going to hell" or "Obama is a retard" are not productive.
Harassment, racism and homophobic behaviour will not be tolerated.
Please respect all users and do not incite hateful comments about anyone within or outside the chat community. To block someone, right click their name and select "Ignore."
Using excessive capital letters is not allowed.
This is commonly seen as yelling on internet communication networks, and we can read just fine without them.
Flooding is not permitted. Entering multiple lines of text in a short time span.
Unauthorised scripts are not welcome, as automated events tend to be disruptive to the chat.
Repeating identical or similar messages is not permitted.
This also includes requests for private messages, (fe)males, contact info; AKA trolling.
Do not spam. Advertising of web addresses, screen names, other channel names, personal details, etc.
Do not ask for copyrighted content.
Majestic-Irc does not control or necessarily endorse the media found on the file-sharing network.
Other restrictions may be enforced if deemed necessary to reduce inappropriate or otherwise disruptive behaviour in #AllNiteCafe.
Private message conversations are widely unmoderated, but if you are found to be in violation of network rules you may be removed from the chat server.
